The Last World

Long ago, the fabled gnomish agent Kristafrost and the Gold Dragon Archurion conspired to ready the world of Ahmbren for the eventual arrival of Those Who Dwell Beyond.

Now the Dwellers have arrived, manifesting as a thousand moons of despair in the heavens. As Chaos spreads and Ahmbren’s world-soul begins to fail, three sisters divided by faith, sacrifice, and defiance hold the only hope of salvation. While Meara seeks to restore hope, Naiadne must choose whether to save the world at the cost of her parents’ lives. And Fernwalker refuses to accept a faith that demands such a price.  

Caught between divine plans and mortal resistance, they are tempted with the offer to ascend and replace their world-soul, seizing power and sovereignty for themselves rather than let the Dwellers consume the planet. The fate of the last living world hangs on whether the sisters can stand together before the last world falls to Those Who Dwell Beyond.
